Mushy is a female spirit that creates soundscapes in Rome, and we could label her music as industrial, but not in a common way: the cold electronic patterns are filtered by her musical sensibility, creating a minimal and obscure mood. Somalia is a drone project from Portugal, and their music has the power to make you feel like you’re forever lost in a forest, frighnened because of a voodoo spell on you… Here’s our first tape, that’s a part of a string of weird tapes we’ll be realising in the forthcoming months. So, we think that the old “rusty” tapes are still the roughest way to express and support this music: tapes are wild, noisy, out of time (and often out of tune). But tapes are cool as well…
